Clark Bender is originally from Iowa and has a background in news media including 20 years in digital media with the Tribune Company. In that role he managed sites like ChicagoTribune.com and Metromix; launched ChicagoNow.com and managed multiple digital video projects. Clark is a voracious techie and is currently in the process of creating his own business focused on creating video and digital media for the Chicago theatre scene. In his spare time he engineers the Chad the Bird podcast (http://www.chadthebird.com/chadthepodcast/) and the Chicago theatre podcast Beyond the Boards (https://yakchannel.com/beyond-the-boards-2-2/). Clark is also an actor with a variety of roles since 2010 including a multi-year stint in A Klingon Christmas Carol that included playing SQuja’ (Scrooge) and QachIt (Crachit). Clark loves horror old and new, is an avid gamer (board and video) reader (graphic novels and the non-graphic kind!) and loves a good scotch.
